January 9 is National Apricot Day, and we have a recipe that is sure to go into your arsenal for quick and easy recipes that will absolutely wow your family and guests!
Today, we're making Dried Apricot and Goat Cheese Canapes, and the only problem with these little beauties is that they're so delicious you'll have to resist the urge to eat them as fast as you make them! They are THAT good!
Here's the recipe:
8 Dried Apricot Halves
1 Tbsp Goat Cheese
1 Tsp Maple Syrup
1/2 oz Crushed Almonds
2 Fresh Basil Leaves
In a Mixing Bowl, combine the goat cheese, maple syrup and almonds, and mix together.
Top goat cheese mixture onto apricot halves.
Chiffonade (finely cut) the basil leaves and sprinkle on top of goat cheese mixture.
